Grace with Wall

In every generation, across all times and places, the constant and final barrier to that “freedom which we have often looked for” is theological, namely, our inability or willful refusal to surrender to those “insights and graces” that would lead us to an ever greater grasp of the living God. Can we imagine a Love so great—and so small—that it flashes from within all the world’s peoples and every natural landscape? Indeed, God “rushes out to us” from every pore. But can we believe it?
